Talking Baseball with the Authors

The Chicago Baseball Museum will host an All-Star Game "viewing party" including a "Baseball Authors" event on Tuesday, July 13 at Sheffield's Restaurant, 3258 N. Sheffield Avenue in Chicago. Doors open at 6 p.m. with the All-Star game starting at 7:00 p.m.

Besides watching the 2010 All Star Game, there will be various Chicago area baseball authors reading and sharing from their baseball books. Their books will also be on sale, and there will be a silent auction and raffle of various items.

Tickets for this fundraising event are $25 and include appetizers, Founders beer, and soft drinks. Only 125 tickets will be sold. To make reservations, call (847)337-1191. Proceeds benefit the Chicago Baseball Museum, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
