The Chicago Baseball Museum & Jerome Holtzman Library, a 501(c)3 organization, has announced a special fundraising partnership with Cubs radio broadcaster Pat Hughes and his popular "Baseball Voices" CD series.

Fans who donate $30 to the Chicago Baseball Museum will receive free, their choice of one (1) of the eight (8) "Baseball Voices' CD's produced by Pat Hughes. The "Baseball Voices" CD series includes eight (8) famous baseball broadcasters: Harry Caray, Jack Buck, Bob Uecker, Red Barber, Harry Kalas, Milo Hamilton, Marty Brennaman, and Dave Niehaus. Pat Hughes will also autograph your CD of choice.

"The Chicago Baseball Museum is delighted to partner with Cubs radio broadcaster Pat Hughes in this fundraising promotion", said Conrad "Connie" Kowal, Executive Director of the Chicago Baseball Museum. "The Pat Hughes "Baseball Voices" CD series is vintage baseball history and fits the Chicago Baseball Museum's mission to promote and preserve baseball history and baseball history in Chicago. We're proud have Pat Hughes as a teammate in our fundraising efforts."

And with Father's Day approaching, as well as the Cubs-White Sox crosstown series games in June, the Baseball Voices CDs will make great gifts for that special baseball fan.

The Chicago Baseball Museum/Baseball Voices CD alliance is another action project of the CBM. Recently, the Chicago Baseball Museum hosted a tribute on April 5 & 6 to Hall of Fame pitcher Bob Feller commemorating the 70th Anniversary of his historic Opening Day no-hitter at Chicago's old Comiskey Park on April 16, 1940. Other projects/efforts of the Chicago Baseball Museum include assistance in the Jack Brickhouse Statue Rededication efforts, the production of a TV Documentary, "Buck O'Neil and Black Baseball in Chicago", published articles promoting the innocence of "Shoeless" Joe Jackson, and baseball re-instatement of Buck Weaver, the establishment of the Jerome Holtzman Award at the Annual Chicago Pitch & Hit Club Awards Banquet, and a variety of other topical, historical and relevant events for fans of Chicago baseball history.

The Chicago Baseball Museum, a 501(c)3 organization, is in fundraising efforts to help its development and its search for a potential location. The centerpiece for the future Museum will be the Jerome Holtzman Library and Research Center. The Museum acquired Mr. Holtzman's entire collection of books, notes, interviews and research information of the late, great Chicago baseball sportswriter, who invented the "save" statistic, and was the only official historian of Major League Baseball.
