Like any successful team, the Chicago Baseball Museum is only as effective as its supporters and team members. It is imperative that you become regulars in our line-up.
Here are the primary areas in which you can make a difference:
While a number of people have pledged their support to the Chicago Baseball Museum, the message needs to be spread to greater numbers in the community. We need people to become knowledgeable about the project and inform their friends and acquaintances about our goals, needs and vision.
Specifically, you can Like us on Facebook, Follow us on Twitter and Watch us on YouTube. Also, you can subscribe to and distribute our e-mail newsletter and attach a ChicagobaseballMuseum.org link to your Web site and correspondence.
When the Chicago Baseball Museum becomes operational, it will rely on volunteers to assist in a number of tasks to support it. From conducting tours to writing grant proposals or research articles, we can find a place that fits your interests and experience levels.
The Chicago Baseball Museum will be funded by a variety of sources, which include donations, memberships and corporate sponsorships. All are tax-deductible contributions.
Memberships are available for families and individuals, who will receive invitations to special events and have early access to new exhibits. Corporate sponsorships are available for companies whose name will be listed prominently at the Chicago Baseball Museum, in its publications and on its web site.
In partnership with Chicago Cubs broadcaster Pat Hughes, donors receive one CD in his Baseball Voices series and an official Chicago Baseball Museum lapel pin for each $50 contribution. There is no charge for postage.
Baseball Voices subjects include Red Barber, Marty Brennaman, Jack Buck, Harry Caray, Milo Hamilton, Harry Kalas, Dave Niehaus, Bob Prince, Ron Santo and Bob Uecker.

Almost every baseball fan has a special memento in his possession. What better way to share your memories than in public?
We are interested in autographed items or game-used equipment of prominent local figures to help us tell the story of Chicago baseball history. To make these items available on a loan or donation basis, contact us for details.
